Right-hand of Lucilla Sioli, Director of the AI Office. Supporting the work on all the files of DG CNECT’s Directorate (6 teams / more than 150 colleagues). Focusing -in particular- on policy coordination, potential and concrete impacts of AI, frontier developments, implementation of the AI Act, and actual deployment of AI technologies in the EU.

Lead member of the AI Office’s team in charge of AI innovation and policy coordination, steering the coordination of the work of the Commission on AI, of national AI strategies, and of private sectors’ supporting activities. Primary staff drafter of the AI Continent Action Plan and the Apply AI Strategy. Contributed directly to the consolidation of the European approach to AI policymaking.

Strongly involved in the design, negotiation and implementation of the AI Act and the Chips Act. Responsible for steering the Commission's AI standardisation strategy, the implementation and follow-up to the Coordinated Plan on AI, and the coordination of national initiatives on AI and chips. Contributed directly to AI impact and monitoring analyses, economic analyses of EU strategic dependencies, and international negotiations on AI.
