Hi, I'm Antoine-Alexandre.
I am a researcher and policymaker in AI.
Biography
Since early 2021, I have been working on the creation and implementation of all AI-related files of the European Commission, including the AI Act, the Coordinated Plan on AI, the Chips Act and the proposed Cloud and AI Development Act. In 2024-2025, I coordinated the design and drafting of the AI Continent Action Plan and the Apply AI Strategy. I am now supporting the daily work of the Director of the European AI Office, dealing with 6 teams and more than 150 colleagues.
I hold degrees in business engineering, European studies, international economics, human rights law, and ethics and philosophy of AI. In parallel, I have always been passionate about data science, using R and Python. I am committed to staying informed about the latest academic research (in political science, economics, applied sciences, philosophy and beyond) and I regularly contribute to scientific and policy-oriented articles, participate in high-level conferences and take part in expert roundtables.
